One of my good friends is one of the 6. He said originally there was only supposed to be 2 in the class. He, and I'm assuming the others, are returning from long term LOA. So I don't think they are poolies or internals, but I could be wrong. I'll ask him and find out.

I am 100% sure that none of them are new-hires. I just spent the week breathing the same air as them (I was not one of them in the class). A few line-holders and a few other stray cats and dogs, Feds, etc...but nobody new to the line. The sign was more of a traffic sign to guide them into the correct room every morning.

Really makes sense to hire a bunch more professional instructors so they can sit around with the ones already hired when there is nothing but mostly reccurrent training going on. A line guy can be flexed to the line when training slows down.
