So do you guys have any of the old DC-10s or is that it for 3 crew aircraft?

All the DC-10's converted to "MD-10" (re: MD-11 common type), so no more airplanes with an F/E.

from the pilot web site news page:

"......Last week we retired our last domestic revenue service 727-200 aircraft, with full retirement of this aircraft type by the end of this month."

so......I guess they're not ALL gone yet?

The 727 flew its last scheduled trip last Friday down in South America.

I heard too last week the ole '27 was especially busy covering broken airplanes in the domestic system.

The retirement ceremony or "celebration" was not the last revenue flight, even into Memphis. Two B-727s were scheduled to arrive later than night. The Bid Period Package showed the last scheduled flight in South America on the 29th, but we also had reserves. Don't know if there were any X-pairings added.

I flew 3 revenue legs off of AFW hotel standby Thursday night/Friday morning 6/27-28 in the ole 727. Landed back in AFW about 8:30 am Friday morning. Both the FO and FE were hanging it up the end of June so that was also their last flight in the 72. Pretty sure this had to be the last domestic revenue flight of the airplane. Funny, even though there has to be more positioning flights and deliveries to the boneyard (or aviation schools, etc) VIPS doesnt allow you to check open time for any date after 30JUN13. Not sure how you'd get assigned one of those trips.
