Worst wives to live with (food, sex, etc.)
#222
The worst person to pick as a wife is a woman who largely views herself as a victim in life. This kind:

This thread is almost approaching TOTD for epicness.
Even at 21, I had an instinct that turned out to be correct... "Psychoses and hotness tend to go hand in hand." The hotter she is, the more likely she's a needy psycho-woman. And something to keep in mind, hotness (both male and female) is extremely fleeting. Generally, it lasts about 10 years, and it's slowly downhill from there.
I watched too many buds marry the eye candy, only to be miserable inside of a couple years.
The woman to go for is the emotionally stable one. You don't want wild mood swings, you want an even temperment that won't crumble when life throws curve balls, as it always will.
It doesn't hurt at all if she's a professional and can make as much $$ as you. Surplus family bux gives both of you options.

My wife is European. Entirely different class. Turned out to work pretty well over the last fourteen years.

I vote for the stay at home wife who puts raising the children first. Dedicated mother = great children. Learn to live within our means.

Now that they are grown, we are DINKs, dual income, no children. I fly 65 hours instead of 85.
Plus, many women derive great satisfaction out of a career. You have to ask yourself, would I be comfortable with staying home 100% of the time and having her as the sole breadwinner? If not, how is it fair to ask that of her?

Because I am the man of the house and she is the woman. I am the Breadwinner, she is the domestic caretaker. That is the normal division of duties that makes for a successful family oriented around God. You know, the way it used to be before Maslow and the Psychology of “self actualization.”

I hope there is some sarcasm in there because nowhere in the Bible does it state that. Rather than reply back in the thread, if you could give me a reference, please do so by pm. This way, we could save a lot of pages in the thread just dedicated to your outlook.
