Yep, the perception of the "male predator". You don't even have to utter a word, just smile at one if they bother to make eye contact with you.
Never ceases to amaze me, I go out to restaurant to eat dinner at the bar, and the only seat open is next to two females, or between groups of females. I walk up and politely ask if the the seat is taken or if they are waiting on a friend, etc. I'm not just gonna be rude and plop right down on it without asking. If they say no, I sit down and get the automatic shields up/back slightly turned towards me as she continues to chat with her friend. Not like I was going to try to even bother talking, I just wanted to sit down and order a drink and dinner. Get over yourselves.

Oh I do, I do and for 25 years. But it just isn't Turks, most of our good freinds are from another country, Brazil, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Japan, France, Colombia, and other places. They dress nicely and some are not svelt but they all appear respectible in public.

Who knows what Satpaks problem is. Maybe he and I can go out and scare all the kids off the sidewalks.
But yeah, even the ones in SA that wouldn't be considered the average run of the mill aestecially pleasing were always dressed well.

LNL, you bring up a good point. I generally agree with what is being said above. I was raised to always take care of how I look whether I'm going out on errands, or for a fancy dinner.
Obviously, sometimes it's not practical nor sensible to get dressed, groomed, and hair done upon order to go to the store for a forgotten dinner item. However, outside of rare exceptions, I can't stand dressing and looking sloppy. It just doesn't make sense to me, and I would say I notice a difference in my demeanour and confidence when I am of well dressed, etc.
The way I see it, if the shoe fits, it's yours. So if you want the Turkish woman who takes pride in herself and cares about her appearance, you better at least be able to match her in that.

You want the plain jane who won't make your life a living hell OR a beauty queen from another country (who is waaaay out of your league, but makes for nice arm candy) and will bleed you dry? I'm not being snarky---just trying to figure this out.
BTW, I also noticed the point that I made earlier in this thread about guys building this monster of a woman by drooling all over hot chicks is what creates this type of female. Hahaha.

So along the lines of what you asked with the "which is it"? It's really NO different than women saying they want a man that's "confident, but not cocky, in shape but not a gym rat, is handsome but not a pretty boy, has a good job (makes a lot of money) but isn't married to the job, laid back but has his own opinions and isn't afraid to challenge theirs........etc etc etc"
We all know that's crap. Women want a man that's just a chocolate shaped penis that ejaculates money
IOW, whittling/narrowing it down into what's basically an individual that DOESN'T exist and having unrealistic expectations.

Not preachin' here, but there is a chapter in the bible devoted entirely to the "perfect wife". It says nothing about looks, but completely reinforces everything LNL said. Thousand of years if wisdom wrapped up in one APC post. Ya'll should listen to her.
