Any hope for Flight Engineers?
So here I am with 3200 flight hours experience on the 727 and no place to go. Is there any hope for Flight Engineers who love the job and want to want to keep flying? Is anybody hiring?

Don't forget the C-5s.
If you wanted to be a recip FE the CP at Everts thinks their DC-6s have another decade or two in them.
Lyndon's civilian Hercs will probably be around for a while as well.
Kalitta has their 72s running around still I think.... And Connie will probably keep their Classics running longer than anyone else will. That said their fleet will only be getting smaller.

Not sure if Doug's operation is hiring 727 FEs.

From what I heard you can't go direct into a KC-10 FE seat unless you've got prior military FE or military A/C MX experience. C-130s will take you fresh off the street though if you talk to the right people and willing to do part time. If I misheard, I'd be glad to be wrong.
