Correction The ATR will volume out before it weighs out with FDX packages.

Thanks for being 'man' enough to admit that your earlier posting was incorrect but you said it with such certainly? I'm curious what changed your mind? Did you just make up the original 'facts'?

HI MaydayMark,

I did not changed my mind or made up the original facts. When I logged-in this morning and re-read my post, I realised that I wrote the opposite of what I wanted to say. Therefore I corrected it.

The only time I left freight behind was due to volume. The ATR 72 has such a huge weight margin compare to the volume margin, that we tanker fuel and do round trip most of the time without refueling at the out-station in order to save money. ( the 200/400lbs extra fuel burn on the first leg is off set by FDX Fuel HUb being way cheaper than the local FBO ).
