If a DC8-63 can land with a full passenger load on a 3200' runway I don't think a B727 would have a problem with 4000'.

I thought about that but it's only 4 knots difference in the ref speed. No auto spoilers comes out at 4000 even but if you haven't seen the sight picture in 18 years since they were locked out I'd think you stay with what your used to. The deck angle is different enough to change the view a bit and a 4000 foot runway isn't the place to renew old skills.
