Quite the opposite, Baghdad Bob. I busted my ar$e getting an MBA around deployments and tdys. I don't know squat about why they do what they do at UPS. And Hemko? That guy is a caricature from an SNL skit.

I just find it astounding you think you have it all figured out because you work here and read some business articles. Your take on UPS being leveraged and its consequences is all wrong btw. Stick to what you know, which I presume is flying airplanes.

Do they teach that in night school MBA classes ?

I just attended a college info meeting with my son. UPS was there trying to talk kids into their work/study and metro college program. I don't want to debate whether those programs are worthwhile. What struck me was what a tool the guy was presenting. He stressed the great culture of UPS and management opportunities. Then he mentioned under his breath that they hire 60 workers a week at SDF, which means 60 a week are quitting.

If the management/labor relations weren't so awful this place could mint money. Instead they try to treat pilots like they do 18 year old kids. Most of us learn early on to ignore the dbs and just fly the plane and go home. I feel for those who can't get past that.
