So are you admitting the company has been stalling or have the interim talks been successful?

I don't think the company has had time to stall negotiations yet as we have only just last week officially begun the process.

It remains to be seen whether the "interim talks" strategy has been successful or not - I think it is also too soon to answer that question for the same reason - only just begun the formal process.

I'm hopeful that they will prove to have been successful. We'll see.

I see - you have a different mindset. I consider the last 2 years as part of formal negotiations. Throwing a PBS offer at us was an insult and an indication the company has been playing us for the last 2 years.

I guess I do have a different mindset if that is yours. I don't see it that way. Time will tell.

I called him to give him cr@p. It was a mistake that he corrected rather quickly.

That would have been quite a shock had he not fixed it.

Now that everyone seems to have put in their opinion, here's the fact. I flew overseas but carried a US passport and I kept my home in U.S, paid state taxes, paid US taxes, kept my state driver's license, and I still would had to wait 5 years before getting on as one of my collegues waited. Me, I would have aged out before the 5 years and work ourside of flight ops. Hey, I am not saying you couldn't get on, I am just saying what happened.

Did you pay US taxes and take the credit from the IRS for having a foreign salary?
