OK, what am I missing here? 757 now going relative senior? WB Capts bailing out to get to the 757? I can understand senior 72 Capts & Check airmen bailing.. 3000ish seniority here & I was thinking of maybe moving to the 75 left seat & being a "catfish" (bottom dweller)...

I think relative quality of all of the lines are deteriorating and the grass is always greener.
But it looks to me like the company is trying to store pilots in the cheapest paying seat for some reason.

They could be betting on a combined 757/767 bidpack. And, are concerned that they wont be able to hold it, if and when, that becomes a fact.

They keep having these bids and we're going to have to hire WB street captains.

6 777F/O Flex instructors bid 57 Capt away from their widebody Capt passover awards.

May be the school house is cleaning house on passover guys.

Maybe they will become 67/57 instructors.

Something is afoot.

All part of the cost reduction initiatives. They don't like paying p/o pay for years upon years. You get what you pay for.
