Actually my oncologist told me, back in 1992, that everyone has to die of something, and nobody is getting out of this life alive.

In other words, you're saying your oncologist was a doors fan?

I flew with Vernice a few times. Nice lady but she spent most of the flight time sharing with us why Income taxes were illegal. Something about the 1040 being a ATF form not a tax form and then something about the income tax being unconstitutional. She had a laptop full of giberish to "prove" her point. I've often said if you are going to be criminally prosecuted for income tax evasion hope your tried before a jury in Memphis TN. Vernice ended up losing the civil trial and paying her back taxes but did not have to pay a penalty as they got her in civil court and any penalty IRS charges you is considered a criminal prosecution.

I too flew with Vernie (she was once a Flight Attendant!) ... I was sure she was going to jail and I would move up a seniority number

Years later, I saw her house and car being auctioned off by the IRS (it was in the MEM newspaper). I felt a bit sad for her even though she broke the law ...

She had other issues also; I believe she had a son who was a herion addict?

You couldn't help but like the lady despite her strange tax concepts ...

She wore a marijuana leaf ring, as well.

The marijuana leaf ring was worn for medical reasons, right?

Pro marijuana, son a possible heroin addict, and against paying taxes. "Winner Winner chicken dinner!"

I hear ya. I also enjoy a good pimple once in awhile.
Just something about the annoyance and distraction.

I cant understand why the crazy lady didnt want to work 4 or 5 extra days a month to help fight the war on poverty. We got that baby on the run, another 40 years and we'll have it down to 26%.

Default Northwest Pilots convicted of Tax Fraud

http://brainerddispatch.com/stories/121302/sne_1213020008.html

From what I recall, all of them were convicted and lost their jobs with Northwest. I also recall some of them shared the same P.O. Box somewhere in Alaska. That is what actually flagged the IRS.

Anyone with a better link, please do post.

Always pay your taxes!
