My bet would be a Polar authorization. This business is so incestuous that it makes European royalty look like good breeding stock.

Default Hawaii?

What is this rumor? LAX-HNL as a tag on to 803 or what?

Also, I was talking about the second new hire class that was in dispute over the ABX/ATI guys who only signed off on the first class.

No.... new flight...I could not tell you about a second class. ABX recalled around 30 and I think 5-6 newhires. I new hire went into management in the deal and is now going through upgrade. Sounds like you folks keep better track on the goings on at ABX then most of us care to....fill in the blanks then we will all know. I am just passing along what ABX Standards/Management and talking to ATI/ JV the info I get.

What is its route then? CVG-HNL non-stop seems stupid b/c of weight restrictions; so what is the scoop then?

Like I said, I'm not trying to contradict what you are saying but it seems strange that one company operating that route (JAL) would get their permit pulled and all other companies (ANA, NCA, EDO Air, Air Nippon) that operate cargo and pax between the two countries would not be affected maybe what you heard in a crew room is not so accurate perhaps?
