Be thankful that you can go out and fly one extra day trip and make that money, and then some.

Boy would I LOVE to know what you're smoking if you think reducing the benefits of the HCSA will in any way, shape or form contribute to providing health care for those who "could not afford ANY health insurance"... Since 43 cents of EVERY Federal dollar spent is BORROWED, this is like bailing the Titanic with a spoon. It don't mean spit, except to take from the Haves and give the perception of taking care of the Haves Nots. And very, very nice job caring more (with other people's money, of course) than we do. Obviously if we don't like increased taxes and more government, we don't care about the less fortunate. As I always say to the occasional raging lib I run into who 'cares' more than I do, I offer to compare my tax return and charitable donations to theirs as a percentage of income. They never take me up on that... Probably because they 'care' more than mean old me.

All that is missing is the "Sent from my Obamaphone" tagline.

Now half of it will be out of my taxable income
JJ still has about 25K of veba money the rest of his fdx pilot buddies gave him in contract 2006, he dont need no stinkin hcsa.

It might appear he's been using his VEBA money to buy Sudafed to make crystal-meth. I'm glad he found a hobby now that he's "officially" retired. I wonder if Obama-care will cover that?

Wow, I forgot about that sweet deal! Just breath-taking the perspective of some people... But at least he cares more than us, so he's got that going for him.

UFB! Everyone just work an extra day a year to pay for it, and be happy about it! So someone like Bama, who should get to spend that extra day at home, now will have to work! Awesome plan!

Yes, and just where did that VEBA 25K come from? The rest of us, that gave up our scope payments, and had VEBA fees taken from our check. Hmm, that sounds like redistribution of wealth, except it went from the have nots to the haves.

I asked then, and I'll ask now, when do I get my 25K?

Brought to you by the same seniority group that benefitted from the regulated age change.

"I got mine!"

Any you wonder why the junior guys are mad? Really?

Sounds like the present reality. Sorry in this case those that are the have nots only earn $300,000 per year, but the haves earn $300,000 a week.

Easily explained. Now the FH no longer has a job he has become an occupy wallstreeter. I guess retirement is kind of like being a professional student.
