My understanding
AA lost their A Plan B Plan and 401Ks when the judge allowed AA to cancel their contract with the pilots.
My guess is they will get the later 2 back one way or the other. The difference is that the poster does not want to acknowledge is AA and NW Pilots kept all the A Plan benefits they earned when their plans were frozen. Not so for Delta, United, USAIR, and most of the chapter 7 BK's.

Thanks for clearing it up. Why dont you look at who the evil wall streeters supported in 2008. Again the difference is Public sector unions getting rewarded by politicians who are in turn rewarded by the Public sector unions. All done with taxpayer dollars.
You want to know the real problem is all politicians trade favors (regulations) for money. The left tends to favor more regulation, the further right you are the less favors you have to sell. Hence we have a center right population and a center left government.

While Unions do have their PAC money and do support Politicians with it, I am sure the Union Funds are pale in comparison to Big Corporations and Super Pacs. This is how the game is played in DC.
Unions aren't the problem, greedy politicians who are out only for themselves are the problem, Pols on both sides of the Middle.

Lag, Public sector Unions (Just like the Private sector Unions) can not use Dues money or TAX payer money to support a Political candidate. They need to set up a PAC like the ALPA Pac that is funded by voluntary contributions. I know you know this.

Second, Unions can spend practically anything they want on membership education. I know you know this. This is not restricted this is dues money. And it goes one way. The 2008 ALPA shiny mag endorsement of Obama issue was not paid for with PAC contributions.
Finally, big corporations and super pac contributions split roughly 50/50. Labor contributions, in particular public sector contributions, go 95 to 5 one way.
Prior to Scott Walkers reforms in WI, the teachers unions made as much off their mandatory health care insurance scam as they did off their dues. This money was not restricted money, this money could be spent anyway the union wanted on political activities. And this money came from the taxpayers.
I am not against public service unions, I am all for them. But it should not be mandatory to join one and they should not be allowed to campaign for the people who they negotiate with. In general the Federal Public Sector union model is not a bad model. SEIU not so much.

More liberal misrepresentation. Big bird is a valuable member of the community, but he/she is over 40 and no longer needs a handout. It not like he/she is a 30 year old georgetown law student who needs a little help with her birth control. For those people it is worth borrowing money from china to help keep them from breeding.

Just think how junior the South American trips would go if we didn't provide coverage for those little blue pills. Even you might be able to hold it. (no pun intended)
