Ding, Ding, Ding. We have a winner!

You guys are so special we've negotiated both a cargo cutout AND experimental rules for you.

Actually has more to do with the fact that we're almost exclusively a widebody/heavy fleet so it is a bit simpler to implement and likely to have more impact overall.

EDIT: Or it could be when you drop below the hard deck...even if it was just for a few seconds!

Wake isn't the only problem following a 757. The bigger issue on 36 at the planet will be spacing with a flaps-35 MD following a 757. With 170K over Cadus and a typical 20-knot tailwind at altitude it takes some heroic slowdowns to get the 75 stable with a Vref that can be as low as 109K. The MD will smoke right up the six of the 75 in this situation. TOGA TOGA TOGA big boy

"...heroic slowdowns..."? Sounds like a job for the varsity.

Man, I really wish I would've been a Naval Aviator.

You guys are over thinking this. If the company wants it, we don't want it. It's the law.

Fixed

I'm sure many longtime aviators have made it though their careers just fine with out knowing about the "fouled deck".
