"There is nothing that we should trade for PBS."
If PBS was ever presented to me in a contract it would be an automatic no vote! I don't care if we have massive improvements in every other section, it wouldn't be worth it. For those of you that say, that if we had control over it, PBS wouldn't be that bad. I say, when have you ever seen management give up control of anything. Even if the looked like they were giving up control, I would consider it a trick. I think I get my point across.

Not so undercover as one may think. Apparently LT (#5 on FedEx seniority list) has worked some sweetheart deal for himself, openly pushing PBS to his fellow employees as part of management while working as the most senior over 65 FE. Brags about this openly (as well as his office in the Gucci building) instead of retiring. Hopefully he will go away with the passing of the 727, along with the talk of PBS, but one never knows. On a side note, I heard from some FO's that this clown still likes to wear his four bar epaulets while jumpseating. I guess true rank is all in the mind.

this part is huge!!! Vacation system as we know it is gone, regardless of your seniority. You want which days off? Ok, you bid that, get awarded those days, and we will fit the rest of your monthly schedule around those specific days. Only those days...no more dropping 3 weeks with only 7 days of vacation. No more expand and slide and that stuff. We will be at their mercy. Pbs is bad stuff.

On the flight he talked PBS. Every "bennie" he claimed, I trumped with one word -- VACATION.

The big picture is PC, JB,and BM have Delta envy...they want to turn us into them. Thats why we have this "cultural Revolution" propaganda going...Delta has Fleet Capts...we need Fleet Capts...Delta has a pilot call center we need a Pilot admin center...of course uniforms are part of the deltization, as is all of this re-org...Delta has PBS....

Missed Calendar Blocking Opportunity
Yep, that was my jumpseat he rode. It was a Sunday morning from LAX to MEM. He told me he was on his way to MEM then on to FLL - doing a little domestic flying instead of his regular SIBA. Later, I learned he was in the back of the 72 going to LCK that afternoon.
