Life is too short, and this gig is too good, to put up with a crew member who demonstrates neither respect for his fellow crew, nor an awareness that his lack of CRM has a direct correlation to possible negative outcomes to the safety of flight.
If direct dealing on the ground with said Capt. doesn't solve anything, nor a brief address with pro-stans, and the FO cannot afford to drop the trip, then a call from the field to be removed from the flight may be necessary, especially if there is no CRM. Lack of CRM leads to unsafe flying. All transport category aircraft are certified with TWO pilots, not ONE. The company will be forced to deal with said Captain when FO's are removed from trips due to safety of flight.
If company then comes after the FO, FO should hire a lawyer to protect his rights.
Safety should be the paramount issue. Personalities can sometimes clash, but when it rises to the level of safety of flight, there should be no compromise to just "suck it up." This is not the military. No one here has sworn an oath to defend FedEx from "all enemies foreign and domestic."

I was impressed with his professionalism and his support. We spent a week flying together and he offered suggestions that were very helpful and supportive. He was a model of CRM, and it was obvious that as a former MD Capt, he had a lot to offer, but did so only in the most respectful and deferential manner. One of the best S/O experiences I had at the company and made me a better Captain. There was absolutely no derision or power struggle that you might assume from the kind of comments Spanky made. Perhaps he was thinking of another guy. Anyway, JetJok has a fine reputation with me and I will always remember that week.
Enough of the BROmance....I just heard JJ retired...Tailwinds my friend.
