According to the july bid pack CG is number 3 airbus capt and LT is number 1 727 so.

I'm just telling you what he told me. Said he was #3 Airbus Capt and does mostly SIBA and was on his way to FLL on a front end deadhead. Said he has an office near PC's where he works on this project. I didn't ask his age, but I did ask him what he thought would happen to over-65 guys when the 727 goes away (peak 2013 was when he said they were gone). He said he didnt know. He also admitted what he, LW (former #1 now retired) and others did during 4a2b (massive carry over each month) was wrong. Was really insistent that the crew force would LOVE PBS if we gave it a chance. He had zero success in convincing me or my FO with any of his examples and arguments. I easily trumped everyone of his arguments with one word - VACATION.

Just looked at his calendar. Apparently, he's still living in the past! At least 2 lies about himself he told me - 1. He was still #3 Airbus Capt, and 2. He was on his way to FLL on a deadhead. Piece of work. Anytime I see him from now on and I see his lips moving, I now know something about him.

So the guy is going to "work" for about $140K per year, when he could go home, play golf, chase the wife, kick the cat, whatever, AND make $130K for doing nothing.

Guys that smart are definitely the ones we want to hang around in quasi-management positions.

I'll believe that when I see VTO's go senior.

Next time you see him, congratulate him on being #2 'Bus, since AH just retired.

Flew with a Captain last month that said LT can't financially retire... How a 4XXX employee number can't afford to retire is beyond me so don't shoot the messenger! Maybe he can make the cash on SIBA

Please tell me how you get $130K per year in retirement at FedEx when we have gone to a lump sum distribution for nonqualified funds in our pension system. Depending on what year you retire, about the best you can do is 50% of the average of the IRS limits on Qualified Funds for your highest five years. The IRS limit has been anywhere from $220K in 2006 to the present $240K for 2012. This is set by the IRS and is indexed every year.
Just wondering.
