One of them fell back into open time, but damage done.

The best bet is to avoid them completely, but if someone makes a mistake and subsequently drops/somehow gets rid of said DP....it still helps. This was verified by RH (SIG Chair) recently. The company does track how they are initially assigned (voluntary/non voluntary), but there is also a scorecard on how they are ultimately flown (reserve, etc..). If they are "routinely avoided" (not sure of the exact definition of routinely) then it does help us in the long run. So, for review, don't touch DPs with a 10 foot pole. If you do, at least don't fly them-get rid of them. Back to your regularly scheduled program.

New to the airplane, but certaintly not new to FEDEX.

What were their "personal DP track records" in their previous jets ???

Let's all continue to Communicate & Educate!

Fly safely.

This is getting to be to much to swallow. These guys are selfish, pathetic, with a very slight chance that they screwed up; which is still no excuse considering how long the DP stuff has been around. I hope whomever these dudes are flying with give them a major ration of cr@p. Only if they themselves were assigned the trip while on reserve, that is.

Or, if they're on AFB.

Is it possible to put the names of the offenders here in the forum? Would be nice to speak with them in the crew lounge and ask they why they chose to fly it and inquire why they did. The only way we are going to get this stopped is for people to know that it will get uncomfortable if they choose to fly a DP on there own vs reserve.

They're easy enough to find, even calender blockers can't hide it when you look up the Trip Recap via Trips and Services. Unless your looking for some sort of public flogging. Whether that actually gets back to them is anyones guess.

UNCOMFORTABLE?????

I bet the next time I see any of them in the AOC, they'll be enjoying breakfast and laughing with a handful of pilots.

It must take a lot more than flying a DP around here to warrant a sanction of any kind. Unless you call the keystroke lashing those goes on in this forum.
