Incorrect. ABX Air under bid Atlas for the five plane contract in question by at least 20 million dollars. Read into that what you will. AMES (ATSG owned) performs the maintenance for the aircraft.

Can anyone "confirm" that one of the aircraft in question has been deemed economically unfeasible/unfit to have the PC2SF modification?

Was it ABX or ATSG that underbid it

I don't know but the airplanes were on their way to CCIA till ABX pilots stopped it, then they went to atlas, another brilliant move on the part of ABX pilots

Ummmm no, Not sure if your talking about new A/C or current but either way your wrong. ATI has the business and its customers currently want to give it to them. Plus, I dont think Hete would want only one pilot pool for the entire company.

Really guy? Most publicly held companies would kill to only have 1.7 million in losses for a quarter ESPECIALLY an airline! Considering the fact that ATI can make this up plus interest easily in a quarter without CCIA's flying this is hardly a wall to lean on. Not to mention this is a result of the after effect of losing BAX, having to support CCIA and high fuel prices again for Quarter 1 and 2.

Without the cappy 75s ATI can't get any combi work.

You realize ATI's 757C's have nothing to do with CCIA's right? I am curious to why you think think this because the 757C plan was in the works years before you guys lost all your business and went running to DHL. PLus there is a reason why ATI has been doing passenger runs on a 76. To the best of my knowledge the military is accpeting its experience.

What does ATI benefit from gaining your pilot pool? I hope they have guys more appreciative of the opportunity than you because despite your belief ATI knows how to fly a 757, Iv seen it done Oh and there are other 757's on the market, of course not at as much of a discount as yours.

Obviously you don't even listen to your own MEC, typical, you have no clue the state of your company, no clue Of the DOD requirements. Why you guys won't even believe your own MEC I don't know. It was all explained at the roadshows but it's like all the ATI guys are in denial.

Guess what your company isn't in the best of shape !! You need what CCIA brings to the table. One of these companies is going away. Prior to this merger opportunity they were trying to figure out how to trash ATI and keep the certificate for capital.

Like I said let it die if the ATI guys don't see the value it's gonna hurt both pilot groups in the long run, and ABX pilots will be laughing and more than happy to fly all our equipment.

Buddy, when BAX shut its doors ATI kept on going like nothing happened, yes there have been sacrifices by some FE's and pilots but unlike CCIA, ATI did not have all its eggs in one basket and kept up their operations across the world.

I am not sure where you get the idea that ATI cannot live without CCIA. As of today ATI has done zero joint operations with CCIA and are not really hurting for business at the moment. Just about every airplane has a line and last I checked, your HQ is at about 10% capacity cause everyone jumped ship and if the merger got cancelled today ATI would not flinch.....

I am especially curious why you believe "Prior to this merger opportunity they were trying to figure out how to trash ATI and keep the certificate for capital." Given the fact that ATI has decades of experience flying into just about every region in the world while Cappy does uhhh, CVG and Mexico flying...... There is a reason why they were "trying to figure out" and eventually couldn't.

You really think that if CCIA absorbed ATI and took the CCIA name that their customers like DHL Middle East, TNT, and millitaries from around the world would just hand you their contracts? ya no.....

ATI never claimed to be in the best of shape and you don't exactly see anyone on here saying CCIA NEEDS ATI do you? Why dont you just calm down about it and go with the flow like everyone else. Things could be a lot worse for everyone involved.
