As I understand it, the breakdown is as follows:
---------------------------------------------
-7 DC8 (remaining -73s and the four Combis)
+2 B757 (Two initial 757 Combis)
+2 or 3 B757 (Brings the Combi fleet back up to 4/5)
------------------------
Net Change: -1 or 0
------------------------
+4 B757F (Acquired thru the Capital merger that was made official in May/12)
+4 or 5 B757F (More B757F aircraft for a total of 8 or 9 flying DHL Domestic out of CVG)
+2 or 3 B762F (Not sure where these are going, maybe DHL Middle East or a replacement for the -73s)
+2 or 3 B763F (Not sure where these are going, maybe DHL Middle East or a replacement for the -73s)
------------------------
Net Change: +12 to +15
------------------------

Fleet Total: 16-20 (not including N712AX)

Numbers aren't cement but it seems like a big jump in planes when compared to just a few months ago. I hope it pans out but I'm not sold on putting a lot of their eggs in the DHL basket.

Anyone else heard similar info?

Re-posted.....

Numbers are more like 16-18 (not including AX).

But it's not as rosy as it sounds. This number factors in a 757C replacing a DC8-62C, one for one which means separation for the PFE's. This will also cause the retirement of the rest of the DC-8's. More PFE's on the street.

This number also includes bringing over 6-8 757F from CCI (along with their pilots). This assumes that CAM is successful in finding suitable 757 airframes to replace their remaining 727's.

This also assumes that ATI will pickup one more 767. This last part is pure speculation. But hey, what's a ACMI operation without a rumur.

So it's not real growth. It's more like absorbing business but no new opportunities. ATI gets ab-so-lute-ly nothing in this merger with CCI.

Except for a lot of their outstanding violations

So that basically is what I heard minus two/three 767s. I see now my math was off in the DC8/Combi Net Change.

What about that bridge program for eligible PFEs that ALPA had worked out?

ATI Gets to survive, I think CCIA is better off without ATI, they are bleeding tons of money, performance is garbage, ATI will kill the relationship cappy has established with DHL

I would assume the "suitable" 757s will be coming from Legacy-UAL. Their fleet plans show about 4 or 5 L-UAL 757-200s off property by Q4/2012. This is in-line with N531UA already having been converted and at CCIA.

Works for me. ATI is fine without CCI. We keep doing what we are doing and you keep doing what you are doing. Oh, and you can kiss your payday at our expense away.

I had a lot more in this post, but I'm not gonna stoop to the level a 5 post-just signed on troll

Yup. More cash we have to bleed for others to survive.

CCIA payday is coming with or without ATI. Typical ATI pilot doesn't have clue of the situation at ATI. If this merger doesn't happen ATI's 76s go to ABX, ATI goes away. Bleeding 1.7mil a quarter, Hete won't keep the doors open there. Without the cappy 75s ATI can't get any combi work. Like I said kill the merger let ATI Die, if the pilots Are to stupid enough to see the value of the merger than it will be a sour one.

Believe what you want Troll. Sounds to me like someone is desperate for this merger to happen. I wonder why?? And if this merger does happen (yes I did say "IF") it should be fair and equitable, which in its present state is not.

I gotta tell you, the numbers don't look good on this side for passage.

Instead of being such an Arse telling me I'm stupid, why don't you try explaining to me why this is such a good thing for ATI. And your first point doesn't count because there is nothing you can say that will change my mind that "ATI can't survive without a merger with CCI".
