Go back and read through the various post on those "dream jobs"..........if it was such a dream you guys wouldn't be b****ing and bellyaching constantly.

There are many, many jobs where the pay may not be that high, but the quality of life is much better.

BTW, it wasn't that many years ago the "dream jobs" were Delta, Northwest, United, American, etc,etc........

And you claim to be a pilot? If we aren't b****ing and bellyaching check our pulse.

There are many, many jobs where the pay may not be that high, but the quality of life is much better.

Never disputed this. The claim was that UPS and FedEx are generally considered the places to be right now.

BTW, it wasn't that many years ago the "dream jobs" were Delta, Northwest, United, American, etc,etc........

Never claimed that UPS and FedEx would always be the place to be either. Fickle industry. Your position is that you must be a "kool-aid" drinker to believe that FedEx and UPS are generally considered the places to be.
I ask you to name a place more desirable. I know there are many factors to consider when you begin looking at individual pilots and what would make them happy, so let's just base it on number of apps on file. I think that would be a general yardstick of who wants to be where.
This is in no way meant to disrespect any other pilot's choice or any other airline. I just don't think you need any kool-aid to think you have a good job at FedEx and UPS.

Your wrong I am right. There I answered you with as many "Facts" as you have presented.

Give me an example of what airline you think has a better QOL so we can all know you dont know what you are talking about.

One only has to be junior once.

After that, you can decide if you want to chase the pay (by upgrading at 100% or flying extra each month) or QOL (by staying in your seat longer and/or dropping trips).

(I know more than one lineholder who only flys 2-4 days each month)

With regards to the *****in and complaining ---- that just means these guys are "real pilots".

Can I ask what your current position is? I only ask in an attempt to understand where you're coming from.

As a professional pilot, if I were looking for work, I'd say that a lot of what purple has to offer, is pretty flippin dreamy.

Some 15 yr CA @ SWA, living in a hub, may not think my gig was that dreamy at all.

I guess it really all depends on where you sit, at your airline, and in life.

After reading what you guys write about your company here and on other boards, "dreamy" wouldn't be my choice of words.
