And how many specialty cans will be needed? And how will the cans be loaded... the infastructure required to support this would cost absurd amounts.

It is obvious the cargo goes in the little squares inside the body. Notice how they facilitated loading by not putting a skin on the top of the airctraft.

Hey BB,

Back in the early 80's the livery on the front cover of AW&ST was Federal Express.....a bit before FedEx.....otherwise, IIRC, the article you posted was pretty accurate.......line pukes were chompin' at the bit !!
