The IPA turns on the ability to pick-up JAs and open time, UPS turns off the recalls. To every action there is always an equal and opposite reaction. If we don't hear anything by June 18th, there will be no recalls for the month of July.

The bid closed today and the shuffle is now seen. Word from some guys in the school house is that their schedules for July had furloughee's on it.

Hoping you guys get a call this week.

Since flying isn't shrinking in ANC and this bid moved guys out of ANC, I definitely think more recalls are around the corner.

School house thinks that the recalls will continue. All offered by the October. Just the guess from the experts. I can't wait until all are back.

I appreciate the optimism - think I'll get out of study mode in my far away hotel room and go get a beer instead. Waiting for my call....

We have seen repeatedly that UPS gives minimal to zero notice of any decisions be they aircraft purchases or recalls or the grounding of an entire fleet of aircraft. I'm optimistic that we will be hiring into the Big Brown swimming pool by year's end.

They actually announced a recall class since the suspension of the OT ban. I believe the IPA is in bed with the company on this and recalls are going to continue. Still, it's be nice to see the announcement.
