I don't blame DW and crew for the LOA. I think they believed they had made a decent deal. It's up to us to digest the material and make a decision. I voted NO to LOA and the last contract. I thought we could have done better.

That said, it's the contract we work under. While I don't blame them for the LOA, I do blame them for pushing for the over 60 FEs to get their captains seats back. I agree that I don't want to see anyone in that group hold a job in the union again.....

Not sure on how much of the "deal" they really took, as there was alot of horse trading, and the original deal wasn't what they got, much better terms, not what is on the table now, or originally, but that is second hand and what I heard from a taxi driver on the way to CAN.

One hasn't lived until you have done the Hong Kong to CAN GT, it makes you appreciate the safety of I240 in Memphis at rush hour...not kidding either...

That makes 6 total; 4 CA & 2 FO.

Everything I have read said only 5. Hmmmm.

Wasnt sure if Baker was an FO or C. So 2 C and 2 FOs got fired. And one FO took a payback deal many months ago. And another C took a deal, which I dont know the terms of.

I think that is all correct.

Crew bus driver's cousin said one HK captain retired rather than go thru the firing/amnesty/arbitration process.
