FDX - 727 Disputed Pairings - Jun 2012

Greg, I used to think you were a fairly intelligent guy, as far as Navy dudes go. It's really disappointing to watch your spiral. You really should get over your hatred for everything DW, because it is severely clouding your judgment.
Looking at the trip in VIPS, there is no way to determine that those DPs were picked up in AFB! It could have been MU or DFT for all we know. Regardless of what status he flew it in, he did it VOLUNTARILY which, as Tony said, hurts the DP process and shows poor support for the SIG by the MEC!
PS. How's that for a 23rd post, A$$!
Same as your 2nd.........full of ill informed, lemming like invective; the usual last resort of those with problems and no answers. But life is a journey....as is growing up. Good luck with it.
There is not a scintilla of invective in Butter's post. It is 100% factual, and you do not have a response.
(Click on the hyperlinks for scintilla and invective for a little assistance from Merriam-Webster with their definitions.)
Take a step back and try to be objective. You're better than this.

Spiraling???....check the mirror brother.
There is no hatred here, as you would lead to believe......I don't hate....ever. But that aspersion is in line with your previous intimation that I was a member of the vile SS. So, on point:

Hmm....censure or reproachful?
This is an example of the lengths to which the SS will go to defend this bunch.
Utter bull caca.
The Captain "jumped on the grenade" so he could go home.

Gotta read all of the definitions buddy........and you went to school where ?
Tony, If this wasn't so sad it would be funny. It would appear you are not content with your re-asserted role here as "The Condescending Professor", but now you are assuming the role of big brother and protector......I am confident that "Butter" can churn his/her own responses. Also, I have not a scintilla of interest in what you (the SS accuser) think of me. That is not important. Here is what is: As far as the DW hatred is concerned.....again no hatred, just no more sidelines while an ill crafted/researched LOA is rammed down our throats; no more sitting aside as info is withheld from us, or as we are treated as a herd of sheep by our leadership, no more tolerance of junior elected leadership thinking they are entitled to "Fleet Up" or they have "earned" the next position (That is the short list). But you were there for all that right? I wish you health and luck with all this.
P.S. Still have the extra oar....care to help row with the rest of us?

You are both jumping the gun. The Capt. is flying both of those in "Association Flyback" status. The Association gets paid the CH's (not the Capt), Capt gets a landing, it doesn't count as a "picked up DP', a reserve guy doesn't get boned with it and the Capt writes up the "Si##y Pairing in a safety/fatigue report.
Basically he is jumping on those grenades for us. A little research will prevent these mis-understandings in the future.........
P.S. Nice 22nd post there "Butter"...........

So, are you saying that it's OK for reps to pickup DP's, as long as it's in AFB status? What is your CBA reference for the idea that it doesn't count as a picked up DP?

Ah, we may have uncovered another layer of the problem, an inability to focus. Of all of your post, there's only one item which is on point. (Rememeber, you asserted that Butter's post was ".........full of ill informed, lemming like invective." Examining what I've posted is irrelvant in proving or disproving that claim.)

See, you need to be able to handle more than one word at a time to understand this. It's not just censure, but vehement or violent censure. It's not just reproach, but vehement or violent reproach. It's not just an accusation, it's a railing accusation. It's not just a word or an expression, it's an insulting or abusive word or expression.
Like I said, you won't find that in Butter's post. He simply stated facts. (Facts that you don't like.)
Sorry.
Apparently you do. I've never seen such a reaction to the use of the Chairman's initials. Your response is odd.
That may be the problem. You're supposed to use the oars in pairs, or you wind up spiraling in a big circle.

I'm beginning to think TonyC's real aim is to shut down the Cargo Forum by boring us to death.
(sung to the tune of "Farmer in the Dell")
A terrible way to die!....A terrible way to die!....
A horrible fate to be talked to death......a terrible way to die!
The "Condescending Professor" I love it....kind of like a cross between William F. Buckley and Cliff Claven. Can't we get back to Hot Avatars and "The Angry Pilot Wife"?
By the way...is a Scintilla one of those animals they make a woman's stole out of?

Here is my takeaway. The DW crowd tells you not to bid airplanes then bids them. The SS crowd tells you not to bid pairings then bids them. There must be a point to my post somewhere.

Geesh, Shep, are you afraid of words?
Maybe we need to write our next CBA in coloring book form.
I'm not afraid of your arrows -- I've been catching them for a long time. But this thread is about 727 Disputed Pairings. Do you have a defense for the MEC Secretary Treasurer voluntarily flying two of them? Attacking me is no defense for him.
