nobody came close to us, even the 777 *****s at FDX
Doubtful. We have over 50 777 guys double dipping making over 500K, some made 700K. Ask me how many days off they had. No thanks.

We DO have a very strong union, but as a previous post mentioned it's probably due more than anything to the way we get treated by UPS.

Different companies, different issues on a lot of fronts, same issues on others. It would be nice to see more communication between us during negotiation times so that we do not inadvertently undercut one another, hopefully we can develop some more of that.

Here's to both groups - let's just concentrate on raising the bar for everybody.

well said Lineslug,

I'm sure those 109 really appreciate that.

I would never even have entered this discusson except I'm tired of UPS guys blaming all of their woes on the FDX pilots' union.

You've got the FAA to reconsider it's rule. We've got HR4350. We'll see which, if any gets any traction.

Regards,
Clutch

With reasoning like that, so are we Little Brother...so are we.

bottom line.... IPA>ALPA...

Thank you IPA for sticking to your guns... NOW, lets see if anything comes of this "reconsideration"

if you're a cargo pilot, you need to be emailing the FAA!

My dog's bigger than your dog......Really???? We're all on the same bus going to the same destination. Personally I think going at the problem from two seperate directions is a good idea! Hopefully we will all be successful.

It is True that some at FDX make more than anyone here at UPS. I know for a Fact a Senior MD MEM guy made 540K last year. He gave me his W-2 to look at. Wow! Way more than anyone here by 200K. Almost double mine, and I'm a Senior MD UPS CA. We don't have the options FDX has. And I really would love to have your Deadhead Policy. Sitting in a cold freighter blows big time for 11 hours at a time. While my FDX buddies are flying First Class drinking Wine. And the option of the Ticket Bank $ to be used for courtesy cars and such.

Much rather sitting on a back of cold frieghter for 11 hrs makin 220 as FO rather than sitting first class drinking red wine and getting paid 88k flying wide bodies, that's just me. I'm here to make money....if I wanted to drink red wine and make 88 k a yr I be a drug rep or just apply to FedEx.

Has your therapist mentioned the words, "superiority" and "complex" in the same sentence?

Classic.
