"YOU DON'T VOTE FOR KING!"
"Well, how did you become King?"
"The lady in the lake, her arm clad in the purist shimmering samite held aloft Excaliber from the bosom of the water, signifying by divine Providence that I, Arthur, am to be King of the Britains!"
"King of the who?"
"King of the Britains!"
"Who are the Britains?"
"We are. We are all Britains, and I am your King!"
"Well, I didn't vote for ya."
...
It's gonna be Steve Mc!

Again you show a need for some education. There is no age limit on a FAA First Class Medical, never has been. My first job after my Seaboard furlough was with Capitol International, flying DC8s. The Chief Pilot at Capitol was the former seniorty #1 at Seaboard World that had retired at age 60. The check airman that Capitol used for training in the aircraft, not simulator, was a 62 year od retired PanAm pilot.
BTW UAL today has a number of Captains working in their Flight Test Department over the age of 60.

I talked to Steve a couple of weeks ago and he said that he threw his hat in the ring for the SCP job. He is the best candidate out there, by far. I hope he gets the job. As far a Jack goes, I think he's been a good CP. He's had some crazy ideas, Like making Meet & Greets the only way to get an interview. But he did write some entertaining e-mails. Time for some new blood.

You may or may not like JL, and some think he should have a breathalizer hook up to the "send" button on his computer.... but you have to admit, he shoots straight from the hip. And even when I disagree with him, at least you know where he is coming from.

Please tell me that this is not the woman who had the puppet up on the glareshield.
I've heard these stories but thought that the individual had been canned. I guess promoted is better than canned.
If that is the same person then JL better start sending those emails up the chain of command instead of down.
