That trip was picked up by my sim partner who just got off IOE last week. Don't know if she asked for it or it was assigned. Yes I know the rules. I myself who also just checked out got two RFO trips and 4 days of RA. Went from king to ding. Do I have to add Hi-mins to cook a chicken?

New to the company too? I don't think so.

They know what they're doing and are probably repeat offenders in other bid packs.

Maybe they bid the 777 because there weren't any DP's they could dumpster dive for in their previous airplane. No....I'm not kidding.

I've flown with the f/o. He constantly harps on the "fact" that he does not fly vol/draft or sell back vacation. Oh well.

Default FDX 777 disputed May pairing

The FO got line 2008, which had a similar trip (without the short layovers) starting on 1 May (trip 119). 119 still exists and now has a different FO assigned to it. Looks as though dude did an open time trade.

Trips that have been formally disputed by the union scheduling improvement group to that are inconsistent with the goals and purposes established elsewhere in the contract. In other words, really crappy trips that shouldn't be flown. If they are, precedence is set that we are ok with them. Talk about screwing your buds!

Pardon my ignorance. Can you be assigned a DP on a "custom line" following IOE completion without specifically asking for it?

(I'm aware that a DP will not be assigned on a secondary line unless specifically requested).

Spool, there are only 2 ways that you can be assigned a DP WITHOUT ASKING FOR IT; Reserve line and a Custom line. If assigned one, take a sleep log to fill out and submit it after your return.

P.S. Welcome to Anchorage!

You can decline substitution. You don't get to decline a reserve or custom line assignment.
