I once flew with a Capt. that had an unusually small bag for our 10 day Asia trip. I asked him how he managed? He said that when he gets to his room he gets in the shower with his uniform shirt, socks and underwear on ... soaps up ... and hangs his stuff up to dry ...

To each his own I guess?

Man that's an old picture. Nothing but high-rises behind it now.

Hey, nothing wrong with a little ingenuity. When I used to fly Europe, I'd wash my gym clothes and my work shirts in my room's sink, then hang them up to dry. If they didn't dry in the room by show-time, I'd hang them up in the jumpseat area on the jet and they'd always be dry by the time we landed at our next stop. Where there's a will, there's a way, I always say. JJ

Yep, Woolite works great for washing in the sink, and if you wear dri-fit type workout clothes they'll dry pretty quick compared to cotton.

I've actually done that on a trek across India. Works like a charm.

Laundry Day
Definitely a good call. I was in Singapore in Feb on a mil trip, used Laundry Day. They're quick and cheap (perfect for airline pilots ). Price is by weight. Little old man and wife run the place. Can't go wrong.

I used to use this in Asia.....

"Hey Mama-san, come washee-washee......."

Next thing I knew, my clothes were clean, and amazingly enough, so was I.......
