FDX Carryover question

FDX Carryover question
I had a carryover trip from APR into MAY dropped for vacation. My question is, will that carryover trip still conflict with trips the first week of May. The trip of course is not shown on my calendar, but I seem to remember once before having that phantom footprint still conflicting and trips in the new bid month being dropped.

My understanding:
Initially yes, but I think you can add trips back (during CIC window) that dont conflict with actual vacation but touch the C/O trip footprint.
If for example your C/O trip was a week long trip but was removed because your Vacation touched it on Sunday, you can add trips back that start on Monday. It is possible to add the same trip that was removed, If you are high enough up the cherry picking seniority list.

Had this same situation. There is an invisible footprint that extends to the end of the footprint of the trip dropped for vacation. If you get awarded a trip that touches that footprint it will drop for carry in conflict. The invisible footprint is down to the minute. What I can not remember if there is a buffer (min 12 hours) on the end of the invisible footprint. If I remember correctly there is not. I went through a lot of "knowledgeable" people including union reps, ACPs, etc. and finally got an answer I was prepared to accept from a futures scheduler. The first futures scheduler I talked to gave me bad info, but wasn't confident and put me in touch with a more experience one. Bid accordingly and I hope the info helps.
