FDX-Trip Manager and Non-Refundable Fares
A heads up for those of you that book your deadheads on Trip Manager... I've noticed recently that many of the lower priced fares are non-refundable. The text is in grey and if you aren't careful it is easy to miss.
You can find the flights you want and then call Global Travel and see if they can book it as a refundable fare. I did this and it was the same price as the non-refundable. Go figure.
According to Global Travel, the crew force asked to be able to see non-refundable fares on the website and that is the reason for the change.
Some of you may want a non-refundable fare, but if you don't, be careful when you go to book your tickets.

All the Alaska Airlines flight in Jan/Feb show non-refundable on trip manager. Called GT and they said it is a programming error. Have booked and canceled and the flights have been refunded. I would call GT. All the flights I have called about have proved to be refundable when Trip Manager said they weren't.

I think that the IT programmers are in Section 6 negotiations.........
Maybe they have more unity than the pilots do!
