gettin' out of military; need advice, please
Greetings-
I'm taking the plunge and put a package in to get out of the military in a year. I'd really like to get into either fed ex or ups. Can anybody out there let me know a good place to start looking or people to start talking to? I've been hearing that I'll need a by-name recommendation from in either company before they even look at me. Any info woud be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome to the forums and congratulations on your decision to separate from the military next year. I think you'll find the forum full of guys and gals who have "been there and done that" at some point in their career.
This is probably not the answer that you're looking for although the "How to get hired at FedEx" topic has been many times on the forum. For some background on the process, I'd suggest using the forums search feature and do a little reading.
