FXCAL Crash on iPhone 4
#21
Autopoll was not changed with 1.7.0, but there are differences in how the current developer kit for iOS5 compiles things versus iOS4. This appears to be its current function: Autopoll will poll up to ten times if FxCal is the top app and the iPhone is not allowed to dim its screen. If the iPhone is allowed to dim and go to standby, some polling may or may not occur. No polling will continue if FxCal is not the top app. Working on a fix for the first, where you can let the phone screen go dark and keep polling. Exploring the available options for background processing in iOS5 so you can do other things while still polling. Thanks.

Rarely, one of the files gets corrupted.
Try deleting files under Troubleshooting at the bottom of the main page.
If Calendar will not open, try deleting the Activities file.
If Open TIme will not open, try deleting the Open Time and/or the Activities file.
Sorry for the trouble.
I have not been able to ascertain whether it is a program error, a network error, or a certain usage sequence that causes this.

appDude,
Great program, thanks.
And also, you're welcome (for the $)
I just switched over from Android to iPhone, and the biggest reason was FxCal (good testimonial ). The biggest thing I miss from Android is free internet while using my phone as a modem and tethering to laptop (with PdaNet app).
So, since you're the appDude, I thought I'd ask if you know about jailbreaking the iPhone 4S. Seems like no one has been successful at it. Your thoughts, suggestions?

CloudSailor-
Thanks for the testimonial!
As far as the jailbreak, I have not jailbroken a 4s, but I do pay AT&T for the hotspot and it works great on my 4s.
A quick internet search listed several ways to jailbreak iOS 5 on a 4s, so it appears you should be able to do it and then choose whether or not to pay your carrier, just like you were able to do on your Android.
