Are the pilots trained aircraft specific (ex:200 or 400)?, or cross trained and fly both?

Are all you new guys going to the -400? How's your class progressing along?

all the new guys are going into the 200. I'm on sim 4 tomorrow on the 200. I think the writing is on the wall that in order for the airline to survive, it has to park the 200s and start flying 400's for the short term. i don't believe that they will have enough people to crew the 400's planned to transitions shouldn't take too long. but cloudy the future is, always in motion and hard to see it is.

There are some significant financial challenges ahead of us. I am confident that there is a good plan in place and we will succeed. I think the rumors of shutdown are just that, rumors.

Money is an issue every day now. Chapter 11 would come before any shut down. The management team is being very aggressive in trying to max revenue to stay out of Chapter 11.
