The way it usually works on this forum, w the EA furloughs at least and given the buzz kill w the holidays and all, it could be several weeks or months before the next post.

The 2009 furlough - not everyone was called back by April:
This company will keep 1 guy on the street a couple extra months to save $, and has done it as recently as 2009. Many of the CA's here consider a furlough a 'right of passage'. They were furloughed, so you're not a real 'Zoner' till you've been furloughed too. The culture here is sortta' messed up at times.

disgraceful....contrast that to real airline unions that grind operations to a snails pace and fly 0 overtime when a single guy is on the street... I don't think this culture is going to help the Evergreen pilots get a good contract, much less an industry leading one.
