Unhappy Is it true that BAX closed Sept. 1, 2011?!??

Hey Cappy and ATI Pilots,

Is it true that BAX in Toledo is now closed? If so, then that is the end of the paletized, "ugly freight", era. Sad.

How are all the DC-8 and B727 crews being affected?

Good luck to all,

True. The Bax Hub Sort in TOL has closed. Bax Global,DB Schenker has decided to go to a "limited asset" (read outsource) biz plan and has partnered with DHL to sort their product through CVG. Cappy and ATI have been contracted through the end of the year to provide additional lift in CVG. What lies beyond that is in negotiations. Should know our fates by the end of Nov.

Conspiracy theory; (get the duct tape ready). DHL and DB Schenker announce some sort of partnership by the end of the year
