Jim addresses a work around to be able to download the bid lines in this other thread ... (at least I "think" niteFly84 is him?). Thanks Jim

On a different but related subject ... has anyone been able to download accepted fares yet?

For those few Fastbid users here's the manual download gouge:
Go to VIPs .. Monthly Bids (first link on left), then Monthly Bidpack (first link at top), then under Other Inquiries in lower half right click on the Download Bidlines File and select Save.. to save the file on your computer.. save it to your bidpacks folder or desktop. Then Open Fastbid .. select Process New Bidpack and open that file.

Somebody has to ask
OK, I'm going to be the person who asks the "obvious"....
Why did we change the way we're getting bid packs?
I can find no correlation to bots since we can still get our own bidpacks.
At least I'm in my comfort zone, the usual state of confusion

The company has wanted to save the costs of printing/delivering bid packs for years. One FPA (IIRC) TA proposed that we pay the FedEx delivery costs with our Employee Shipping Accounts.
So ... it would seem electronic bidpacks turned out to be the compromise? With BidX/FastBid it might be a reasonable solution (assuming we can get management to publish the electronic bidpack/accepted fares in a timely manner)?

I'm getting what you're smoking as far as the expense of actually shipping the bid packs, I guess what I was really trying to ask is; why are we not allowed to open bid packs from other air frames? Is there some new conspiracy in place to make it more difficult for pilots to compare their lines against other airframe lines?
Did Oswald act alone?

FWIW, you did notice that this new and improved method requires only one link to be updated on the bidpack page and that the "Monthly Bidpack" page links require no updating as they are managed by webpage 'bot' scripts .

Jim.
My FastBid now says "Accepted Fares Successfully Added" but I can't see them either in the lines or pairings? Any ideas?
Thanks ...
