Aflou,
Do you still stay in touch with your cohorts at UPS? If so what do they think about UPS's comments regarding their positions?

Wow, thanks Bob.

I guess eventually one of your predictions will come true if we wait long enough.

You're obviously a brilliant man. I can't wait until you start dropping hints and inside info during contract negotiations. I'm sure everybody will listen since you're so trusted and knowledgeable. LOL

Since you mentioned it...
When the soon-to-be furloughees brought up the contract's poor recall language with the previous IPA president at an ANC EB meeting, he laughed. Will the new president be more receptive if approached on this subject? Maybe this has been addressed on the B&G but I don't go there much anymore.

The truth is this furlough was result of both direct and indirect legislation. Mainly the obvious age 65 rule. I have come to realize that the only real way out of it is more government intervention and legislation.

I have said before and I day it again..... Our previous prez by far was the worst thing that could happen to this group and I'm glad that he finally realized that he was nothing but a little lieutenant trying to do a four star generals job. I've never been so dissapointed and mislead like I did the last 2 yrs.
Good riddance.
