Had one guy in my class that came straight from the corp. gig. Did not have any problems.

Not that big of a deal thus far. It takes a few minutes to learn how to read a Jepps, but the rest of the system is not that different than flying heavies in the mil. I realize now how much more freedom military pilots have. We did not have a flight dispatcher and were always having to ensure the flight plans were filed correctly and all the other loose ends. 121 is easier.

Thanks
Initially, new hires are assigned a position, and actually have no seniority rights when other vacancies open, but, at the company's option, they can allow you to move based upon your system bid on file while you're on probation.

So, with me being 44 and just starting flight training @ ATP, by the time I'm competitive for UPS, I could go for the FO seat on an A-300? Right?
