What kind of exchange rate is FDX giving you on your foreign currency/housing allowance? Or did you accidentally leave some of your fun tickets in front of your stash?

I suggest you email Warren Buffet, Bill Gates and Donald Trump. Ask them what there taking home every two weeks. If that does not turn you off to becoming a pilot than nothing will.

1 USD for 1 USD. For other currencies, it is the market rate. It is the best we could get! Seriously.

Actually that is not quite accurate.

HKG based Pilots get $4500 USD and CGN based Pilots get $3500 USD
This is the floor.
Pilots will never get less than that in equivalent Foreign currency.

IF the HKD should rise to 5 to the Dollar or the Euro goes 2 to the Dollar
the Housing allowance will fluctuate in local currency value paid in USD.

Maybe not FedEx but as a 23 year UPS MD-11 Capt mine starts out at about 300K but after taxes for Obamacare, social security (of which I will never see a penny of) and insurance works out to about $3300 every two weeks after alimony deductions. Seriously.
