Benifits/schedules
I have a couple questions about how cargo companies such as UPS or fedex run things?
Are you able to hop on a jumpseat and fly for free with your company when you aren't working the same way you can on an airline? If so, Can you bring your family or any non-related guest?
How do the schedules work? I know at the beginning there are a lot of night hauls, but how many does on do you usually work until you have time off?

2 to 3 legs a night domestic on average, 12 to 14 nights a month, usually in blocks of 4 or 5 days in a row.

I love when I am talking to someone I have never met before, and somehow mention that I work for UPS and they roll their eyes in disgust. It usually means that they have worked for UPS previously, or that they have a family member that did. Then they go on to say how they disliked it so they left. I generally avoid mentioning what I do here anyway. But that just goes to show you that pilots aren't given special nasty treatment, it tends to be a company wide problem. FWIW ...
Sorry for the thread drift, but the OP questions were answered and there is a convenient search function that would cover the rest.

2. I realized it was company wide when I took my package car ride on the
2nd day of new hire class and talked with the driver...LOL!
