Default ATI and DB Schenker announcement

Any current ATI guys care to comment about DB Schenker's announcement to eliminate its US BAX Global flying with ATI and capital cargo?

I'm furloughed ABX and just got the recall invite to ATI, then this announcement the next day. Sounds like they're hiring right into a furlough. Any thoughts??

Also, how many airplanes is ATI taking delivery of this year and what are their public plans for deliveries in the future?

Trying to make an educated decision whether or not to join the team and walk away from a 60K regional job. I would welcome some input.

Thanks!

I think that is the understatement of the month.... I would be shocked if they survive the carnage

Do I need to make 25 posts to PM? Obviously new to this forum. My previous posts were immediately following my furlough.

Yes. The board system locks you out from PM's until you have participated a certain number of times.

Hope this helps,

A significant portion of their revenue was off that contract.... I would tend to agree. Sad.

I did not see how possibly parking 5 to 10 aircraft will not result in layoffs. Two more 767 this year. It’s a hard decision. Management is being really quiet.

It would make sense to me as an observer from the outside at this point, if ATI cancelled their recall class in August. They will probably make the decision for me...I hope.
