I'd like to 90%+ in favor of the TA. The thing that will **** me off is if we don't have 100% voting. Not voting is unacceptable!

Default No Captain Support???

What do you mean by " support of the Captains"????

I'm guessing you think too many FDX Capt's were drafting throughout the negotiations, and that if more of them had followed the lead of their F/Os (ie less drafting) the TA would have come sooner with better benefits for the members????

Am I close??

Don't really like it all but I support the efforts of the MEC and negoationing guys. If they had the support of the Captains we would have gotten a better deal but they didn't so we get what we get. Hopefully next time around guys will step up sooner and we won't have another 7.5 year deal.
Thanks to the F/Os that stood up and got us what we got.

Not to argue, because your experiences may be different, but during the last 4 months I don't think that there was very much LEFT seat Capt DFT out there. If there was all this extra flying avail for the left seat, why do I still only have 46 hrs as a bottom feeder RSV guy since I checked out 4 months ago? Must be all those RSV assignments I refused. Just something to think about.

I just returned from the hub turn meeting where the question was asked of Dave as to how we (the pilot group) did during negotiations and what we could have done better. He mentioned that the MEC and NC are planning on thanking appropriate sections of the pilot group after the contract is signed but not before as the negotiations are still 'status quo' until the TA is ratified.

However he did state that Lippy was the one reason the deal didn't get done sooner.

Can we vote YES more than once?

Hey, it's done concerning Memphis politics and the Ford family. So why the heck not.
