Actually, there's also "Jetflyer", but that's email based only, and you have to send in to the administrator to start subscribing. It's completely in house run, and started by a FedEx guy, and obtw it's free also.

Actually, we don't really belong in the Cargo forum, OR the Majors forum. We're waiting for APC to open the Wildly Profitable Global Airlines forum. But we're not pushing too hard for that, because it would just be the two of us, and that could get boring.

Haven't applied, do not intend to. Not particularly interested. I like my job.

You sound an awful lot like the DAL and UAL guys sounded a for arew years back, when they thought the party would last forever.

Happy contrails.

Worldguy, the cargo guys operate heavies for a completely different business model than DAL and UAL guys did and are today. Don't see FDX/UPS taking concessions anytime soon.

Unfortunatly the attitude is the way it is....
We all do the same thing, all pilots....people forget that after a little of the ole Kool-aid.

************* has a discrete board you have to provide ID info to use. However--not a lot of traffic on the UPS contract or the new FDX stuff there. TonyC and I keep an eye on it, but for TA issues this has emerged as the defacto Cargo central place to be.

Kinda a flame, but mostly just trying to clear away the BS.

If you aren't interested in the FedEx and UPS stuff......Don't CLICK on it on.

Better yet, don't START a thread about it.

Don't care about these companies?? I beg to differ. It's obvious they get under your skin.

I know its tough to change companies and take a first year pay cut. Everyone tries to find ways to justify not making a change, mostly because it is hard. So don't try talk us into how all pilot jobs are the same unless you drink the Koolaid too much. I know as well as you do that World is not in the same tier with FedEx and UPS. The duopoly is alive and well. Don't get mad at us that there are no lateral moves in this industry if your company shiites the bed.

WARNING: This attitude may be hazardous to your career.

Be as stringent picking your employer as they are picking you. Look at them like an investor wanting to buy the stock. Sure we all do the same thing, but the certainty and amount of the revenue is what provides us our paychecks. That is very different.
