Default New Seniority Numbers - FDX

Only 75, really --- that's it? I would expect a lot more over the next two years with all the senior pilots coming up on 65. Don't any of those guys play golf?

Oh and don't forget the... "I'm leaving at 62.." That is what all the 58 to 61 year age group (that I have flown with) always say.. I don't really care but honestly, why not just tell the truth??? It's the law stay as long as you want but trying to soften the blow with bullsh1t.... I know it is so much fun that you don't want to retire...

Sorry.. Woke up on the wrong side of the bed on a reserve trip to some crap hole that I don't want to be.. Isn't overmanning great!

Gosh, never thought of that!

Maybe that's what the rest of the guys over 60 are doing also!!!!! Such an effective payback to the "family" company that takes their pound of flesh and doesn't care if there is bone, blood or anything else in there as well.

Of course put on a scale the "pound of flesh" is always closer to 2 or 3 Kilos. But who cares, we always vote FOR these LOAs that give the company all that they want in return for a measily cash bribe. I mean signing bonus.

Or whatever they are calling it on the next LOA or Tentative Contract or Scre@ Job (you can pick one, two or all three, I'm easy).

What does this have to do with the new senority numbers?
Why don't you just quit now and put yourself out of your misery?
BTW, I only moved up 20 numbers and I'm not complaining.

What is the magic number that people want to see? 100? 200?

Who moved my cheese, anyway?

Sometimes, just sometimes, it pays to read and comprehend the flow of the discussion before jumping in.

But maybe ur in that group that has 29 years with the company and are completely happy flying the 777. I don't know.

Most of us moved up another number today. The latest retirement FCIF was effective today, so he is still on this new master seniority listing!

Why not just apply for a new passport 6 months before you plan to retire anyway (even if yours isn't about to expire)?
