A couple events coming up soon
1)In 17 months, the age 65 rule will be 5 years old meaning all the guys on the "get Jack back" bid will be retired or riding sidesaddle around South America.
2) Also, in 3 years, The Tiger buy will be 25 years old....meaning anybody you see with a 96 or 97 employee number has max'd out their retirement....longevity wise. If they have their high five knocked and are 60+......they are working for wages minus computed retirement income. There are many factors in the decision to pull the handles but if it's strictly a financial decision.....expect a lot of ex-Tiger guys to go in a few years.

Speaking of Tiger guys retiring after 25yrs of FDX service soon. The should to be doing quite well. With their Tiger B-plan, Tiger A-plan, FDX B-plan, $25K VEBA, in addition to a maxed out FDX A plan retirement with a multiplier, I can't believe any of them are still here.

Hi Bus, I'm guessing that most of the "senior" Tiger guys here still were hired in the late 70's. If my memory is correct, after the Seaboard merger both sides furlowed and Tigers didn't recall all until the Spring of 1987.
I bet they don't have very much coming to the from their Tiger plans.
