Freeloaders and Age 60

First of all, Bob's not at Continetal anymore. Learn from it and move on. Second, he's not between a rock and a hard place. He's just like every other pathetic self centered ass on that list. He's not worried about NWA or Delta pilots or even FDX pilots, he's just worried about greedy Bob.

Bob, The CEO's of major airlines don't give a sh*t about you and your money woe's. Fact is the old guys are the highest paid least productive pilots on the property. Just look around, there is no shortage of pilots. Why don't you just upgrade already!

Bob,
I guess you support everything that Congress and the President do and have done for the last 200+ years. By your logic, you wouldn't be paying taxes and would have changed your citizenship to France. Good luck you one issue freeloading piece of ?!

Looking at the nonmembers list, there are currently 30, on the list of 122, that are either over 60 SOs or recently retired from flying and will be 31 by DOS (4 recent retirees - B.C., M.M., B.C., and R.O. with D.C. to follow prior to DOS). By the amendable date, another 40 will either retire or become over 60 SOs. The nonmember list will only be 51 nonmembers long at the end of the new coctract. For dues check off guys, there are 4 over 60 on the list with 3 to folow, leaving 11 dues check off guys in 4 yrs.

The entire world now knows that ALPA fabricated its "safety" argument to support the Age 60 rule, leaving pure age discrimination as the only explanation for ALPA’s position. It is a public disgrace that will accelerate after November 23rd. As long ALPA pilots continue to cross the picket line and willfully displace their fellow pilots, I will continue to do the same thing that I did at Continental when I was 23 years younger: Resist. In this case, I am striking ALPA. And, I am pretty certain that Carol still supports my effort. It was crystal clear to us who the real freeloaders were back in the mid 80s, and it is crystal clear who they are now.
They didn't agree with ALPA so they struck out on their own. Now you don't agree with the pilots of ALPA so you do the same exact thing. Who really is crossing the picket line?
Don't forget that ALPA fought the original age 60 rule, we lost and in the intervening years, have structured all of our contracts on the fact that we will retire at 60.
What number do you want to be codified as the retirement age? When you approach that age, will you want it to move again? Do you want there to be no defined retirement age? How will that work when we negotiate a contract? How will anyone plan?
