Might want to talk with a block rep. I don't see the pay cut and dry as you do. Right now we get sub when a trip has a change of gauge (change of airplane type) and an extra pairing is created or a revision occurs.

Just a wag but I bet widebody guys would be ****ed when some of the trips they are put in sub for end up being paid at narrowbody rates. If you think scheduling is shady now, I bet they explore just how many gauge changes they could do without crashing the system.

My vote is 767 guys always get widebody pay, even if it's a 757 and 757 guys get widebody pay when operating a 767. Any other way would mean loss of pay for those who are holding widebody aircraft.

Your way may seem o.k. now but would stink if we replaced a bunch of MD11s and Airbus with 767s.

The way I see it... is.. there will be 757/767 guys... not a separate group of 757.. and another group of 767 guys..

That would be a huge give back in pay. We should have a 767 bid pack and 757 bid pack with revisions and sub when they need it. Sub would be far more efficient for the company with the common type. There would also be big savings from using reserves to cover both.

With all due respect, we're asking to be brutalized with a combined bidpack.

Let's just make it easy for everyone.

Everyone gets widebody pay. And we have the ultimate MOAB to coincide with the LOA.

Here at DAL,the 757/767 category always pays the higher rate, and the 767-400 pays an even higher rate....same as A330.

How will there be 767 guys and 757 guys? If it's a combined fleet via the dual type rating, they'll all be in the same group. We don't have MD-10 and MD-11 guys.

MD-10 / MD-11 = Both widebodies.

757 / 767 = Not both widebodies.

I think the main issue to know is how many jumpseats will be on the 767 and if there is a crew bunk, will the captain take people along for the ride?

Stirring the pot for the sake of APC entertainment,
