More leaving brown for purple

Thats how my ID got back when I was furloughed...
Still have the furlough letter, a couple of "holes" in it, but I will frame it and let it serve as a constant reminder.
On second thought maybe laminated in my bag IF I ever get back.
Congrats to those at purple. Wish they would call me too!

Could have done better
He shouldn't have resigned when he could have retired. Penalty is probably huge for retiring in your 40s at UPS, but some money is better than no money. Plus it would make you smile every time a check from UPS showed up, no matter how small. Not sure if UPS contract says about early retirement, but some food for thought.

Why would u ever leave fdx for UPS. It's like leaving united for usair back in 2000. Usair was all attractive and all but come on already. What did u think you were gaining or accomplish. Just wanna know.

Absolutely agree. Me sweating during pre-flight to save them $ (when they're profitable to the tune of $1B /qtr) requires a level of loyalty to them not reciprocated as evidenced by the furlough under aforementioned profitability environment. I'll certainly not cut off my own nose to spite my face, but I can't wait until the first time I hear from a scheduler or ACP "hey, can you do us a favor?..."
